Theater of the Word

Theater of the Word will be presenting two plays September 18 and September 19, 2013 at Shanley High School.  They are both family friendly, however, the play on Thursday is especially for young adults and adults…please come.  There is no cost.  There will be a free-will offering basket at the doors.  Please park on the north side of Shanley—enter by the gym and come down the hall pass the cafeteria and into the auditorium.  No RSVP is necessary.

On Wednesday, September 18 at 7pm in the Shanley auditorium the play ‘Sarah’s Secret’ will be given.  The length of this play is about 45 minutes.

Here is a brief description of ‘Sarah’s Secret.  This profoundly moving pro-life play focuses on the effect abortion has on a mother-daughter relationship.  Over the course of her childhood, young Maggie sees her mother, Sarah, struggling silently with grief over a secret she’s never been able to share.  When the truth comes out, it is very hard on them both—but God’s grace sees them through.

On Thursday, September 19 at 7:00pm “Adam and Eve go to Marriage Counseling” will be presented.  The play is about 1 hour long.  Again no fee for entrance but a free will offering basket at door. No RSVP is required to come.  It will be in the Shanley Auditorium.  Please park in the Shanley north side parking lot, go through the doors by the gym, walk beyond the cafeteria and into the gym.

Hope to see many at these two extraordinary plays.

Young Adult 40 Days for Life Prayer Slot - Saturdays at 11pm - September 28th - November 2nd

The young adults have signed up to fill the 40 days for life prayer time slot from 11pm to midnight on Saturdays.  40 Days for Life starts on September 25th and ends on November 3rd.  There should be a fair amount of activity in downtown Fargo around that time from the bars so it will be a great opportunity for young adults to witness to life to other young adults!  Let's get as many young adults there as possible - note that I guarantee there will be at least 2 adults there at all times for safety.  I'm especially looking at men to stand up in defense of the women in children!  Please email fmcyainfo@gmail.com to sign up for a day.
