Grill out with the priests from St. Josephs at 7pm (Msgr. Mike and meet Fr. Todd - just moved in!) followed by lawn games at the nearby park.  Please bring something to share and RSVP so we know how much meat to buy!  Kids are welcome.

An evening of wine, discussion, and creativity for adults!

On Tuesday (June 22nd) and Wednesday (June 23rd) evenings from 6:30 to 9:00pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fargo.


-Lively discussion of Pope Benedict’s address to artists
-Instruction and experience of drawing and painting a still life with acrylic on canvas
-Sipping wine and eating appetizers!

Sheyenne River Valley Expedition

Come on an extended weekend of spirituality and outdoor adventure in the beautiful Sheyenne River Valley.
Each day will include celebration of the Holy Eucharist, morning and evening prayer, outdoor expeditions and great food and Catholic fellowship.  June 25-27th, cost is $60 for food and lodging (please register by June 23rd).

Movie and Discussion: Amazing Grace - Tuesday, June 22nd

We'll be watching the movie Amazing Grace (about the end of the slave trade in England) followed by a discussion on the Catholic points of the movie.  Meet in the Holy Family Room at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 7pm.  Popcorn will be provided - bring your own beverage.  Please RSVP in the comments or on the side.  Childcare available upon request.

Next Book Club Book for August: The Quiet Light by Louis De Wohl

Voting for the next book for the Young Adult Book Club has completed!  We'll be reading The Quiet Light by Louis De Wohl and meeting in the middle of August for discussion.  I've read it and it is quite good.

Here's a synopsis:
"A stimulating historical novel about the great St. Thomas Aquinas, set against the violent background of the Italy of the Crusades.
